Compatibility Crucial For Different Operating Systems

For program developers, there are many things to consider when creating a program that is going to be sold or made available to the public. Many programs begin their lives created for Microsoft Windows use, as this is the most popular personal computer operating system.

 However, as Apple computers begin to grow in popularity (thanks to the iPod and iPhone), program developers are beginning to realize that there is a market for Apple-compatible programs. Apple users are a growing force, and many are interested in the latest online communication programs and technologies. (Linux is another operating system that many computer programmers use- but it still has a while to go before becoming a contender against Windows and Apple.)

 Luckily, Brosix is already somewhat ahead of the curve when it comes to instant messaging programs. Right now, our computer programmers are working on creating a Brosix platform for Apple/Mac computers, so anyone, no matter what type of operating system they use, will be able to download and take advantage of all Brosix has to offer. This will be great for companies who use PCs for office use and Macs for design, or advertising offices who work solely on Macs. We will keep you posted when this becomes available for download. –Kelsey
