Enterprise Instant Messaging Makes the World a Smaller Place
Brosix can save employers both time and money – plus it has a host of great features – all of which combine to make Brosix the best IM client for your business. We have talked about the various ways that you can save money but take a look at this story:
All Damovo employees – including more than 60 in Ireland and 1,100 around the world – are now communicating via unified communications (UC) applications, including instant messaging, presence, audio- and video-conferencing, and real-time document sharing.
…
Time wasted in trying and failing to contact customers and colleagues costs the Irish economy €693 million annually, according to an independent survey on behalf of Damovo last year.
…
The firm’s monthly management meetings now take place over the internet, eliminating time-consuming and expensive international travel.
Country manager John McCabe is an enthusiastic advocate of UC technology. “We now use presence awareness, instant messaging and video conferencing all the time.”
…
UC has been extended to the desktops, laptops and even mobile devices of all Damovo employees. The firm expects its Irish staff to save 100 working days in the first year by using the instant messaging and presence functions alone. With savings on calls and travel included, the solution will pay for itself in eight months.
Damovo is a great example of an international company using enterprise messaging to save a lot of money for the company. It is particularly encouraging to see that they believe enterprise messaging pays for itself, a fact which we believe would be true for all businesses who seek to use enterprise services.
Brosix is great because it does offer a unified body of communication. Enterprise messaging features such as whiteboard, voicemails, voice chat, screen sharing, and the like offer companies the ability to follow the example of international giants such as Damovo who have embraced emerging technologies to improve their bottom line and to protect the time of their staff, which is another valuable resource.
