Have a great Instant Messaging story? Please share.

Happy Friday everyone. I have had a great week, despite the unusually cold weather where I live, and I hope you have as well. I wanted to highlight a few things really quickly.

Brandon, the About.com IM guide, also wrote up a small piece about Brosix on his blog. It is a nice, short overview of what makes Brosix a great enterprise instant messaging tool!

A blog isn’t supposed to be about one way communication and fortunately a number of you have been so kind as to chime in via email or the comments section of this blog with your thoughts on our ongoing discussion regarding Brosix, instant messaging in general, and what have you.

So my thought is this – most people I know have plenty of stories that are entertaining, great or otherwise intriguing regarding technology like instant messenger. So what is yours? I have too many stories to recount where I accidentally instant messaged the wrong person, something you have to look out for in the workplace, and plenty of stories from my dating friends who agonized over the least little detail in an otherwise mundane instant message from a person that they liked.
