No Advertisements When Using Brosix

Share

Hey all, it’s Kelsey here. The Brosix MySpace page can be found at http://www.myspace.com/brosix . This will be updated soon with more current information, links, and important Brosix developments. In other news, the Brosix Twitter account that I gave earlier is incorrect, Nation should be creating a new Twitter account soon, and he will provide that address.

As I took a step back today and thought about the pros and cons of private, paid-for instant messaging programs like Brosix, I thought of one very important benefit that I think everyone is used to dealing with when using free programs- advertisements. Unlike most (and when I say most, it’s probably around 85% or higher) free programs, Brosix does not display any advertisements when using their program. This is a great perk to using Brosix- not only do you get a secure online communication channel, you are not inundated with pop-up ads or spam IMs.  This definitely makes the program easier to use and you are able to communicate easier and more efficiently because you are not trying to wade your way through all the graphics and ads into order to use the program.

If you would like to try Brosix before you buy it for your company, or if you want to download it for your own personal use, it is completely free. Go to http://www.brosix.org/compare.shtml for more information and a link to download.
