The Comcast Example
Twitter is the hot property online these days. Tons of buzz has been generated about the service and it is rapidly becoming the “it” dot.com. One of the examples that has been trotted out about the power of Twitter is Comcast. To make a long story short Comcast has three or four people with Twitter accounts who monitor Twitter all day long for posts about Comcast. When the posts merit a response they reply and attempt to solve the problem. They are also contacted when something arises quite often.
This project has generated a lot of positive buzz for Comcast and has helped them improve their image with the public.
Twitter, however, does not apply to every business model and may not allow the sort of secure communication that might be needed for your client interactions. That is where Brosix comes in. With Brosix you have the ability to add valued clients to your network, perhaps even telling them you are doing so specially for them because they are so great for your company. You can then interact with them directly and securely.
You may not end up in BusinessWeek like Comcast has thanks to their Twitter account but you may end up doing your business just as much good thanks to the added personal touch that enterprise instant messaging offers!
